How Much To Order When Doing It Yourself?
Appetizers and Cocktail Party: For a Cocktail Party plan 12 to 14 pieces, if during dinner time 18 pieces per person.
Lunch: If having sandwiches, allow for 2 mini or 1 large per person. Add one or two sides like salad, pasta, or grain and a dessert or fruit platter
Dinner: Have 3 – 5 pieces hors d’oeuvres per person. The main entrée should be (6 – 8 oz.) protein per person and 2 x 4 oz sides of veggies, beans, pasta, salad etc.
Beverage: Depending on your guests, event type, and time of day plan on 1.5 alcoholic beverages per person per hour followed by soft drinks and water.
A Case of wine serves 60 5oz gl, 1 Bottle 5 x 5oz gl/ 1 bottle champagne 6 x 4oz gl / 1 case of beer 24 bottles / 1 Gallon 16 x 8oz gl, 1 litter 4 x 8oz gl.
